  2.            Installation Instructions for the Home Sales System (tm)

  5.   We,  at  Grumpyware  (r),  have  decided  NOT to alter ANY boot or system
  6.   configuration files. In order to make the  Home  Sales  System  (tm)  run
  7.   correctly there are just a few minor changes that need to be made to your
  8.   AUTOEXEC.BAT and your CONFIG.SYS.
  9.  
  10.   Please consult your DOS Manual on how to change these files.

  13.   CONFIG.SYS file changes:
  14.   ------------------------

  16.   Make sure your FILES read as follows for Windows 95:

  18.   FILES=81
  19.  
  20.   Make sure your FILES and BUFFERS read as follows for DOS 6.x:

  22.   FILES=81
  23.   BUFFERS=21,0
  24.   SHELL=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM /P
  25.  
  26.   and for DOS 5.0:
  27.  
  28.   FILES=81
  29.   BUFFERS=21
  30.   SHELL=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM /P /F
  31.  
  32.   and all earlier DOS versions:

  34.   FILES=81
  35.   BUFFERS=21
  36.   COMSPEC=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM

  38.   AUTOEXEC.BAT file changes:

  41.   Add this line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file regardless of your DOS version
  42.   even if you are running Windows 95:

  44.   SET CLIPPER=//F:61

  46.   NOTE: Be sure to re-boot your computer, by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL, after
  47.         making these changes.
